Jesse Lonis is the latest champion of the PokerGO Tour Pot-Limit Omaha Series, joining the likes of Lautaro Guerra, Daniel Geeng, Samuli Sipila, and Matthew Wantman. The 29-year-old poker pro based out of Las Vegas cashed in five of the 11 tournaments offered at the 2025 PGT PLO Series, accumulating $799,140 for the highest total of any player.
Lonis was awarded a $10,000 PGT Passport and the PGT Gold Cup as the series champion. He also apparently earned $500,000 in side bets as a result of his photo-finish victory, which saw him take down a $50,000 buy-in must-win pool of ten competitors gunning for the series point-race victory. He came into the final day of the series in second place, trailing only fellow side-bet participant Alex Foxen, who went on to finish second in a single-day $5,000 bounty event as time expired to come within 30 points of Lonis in the final standings. Foxen cashed for $647,185, matching Lonis in cashes and final tables.
Crazy 2 weeks of PLO started off slow but stuck with the game plan and came out on top! The dynamics of this series was crazy due to the fact that me and 9 others participated in a $50,000 must win player of the series side bet. In the last 25k championship event I had to fold… https://t.co/Md0kb6k3TN

Lonis made four final table finishes in total during this series, placing inside the top three in each of those events. The two-time bracelet winner ensured his series champion honors thanks to his final podium finish, which saw him place third in the $25,000 championship for $210,000 and 126 points.
This fifth iteration of the four-card festival drew 1,167 entries and awarded $9,572,000 in total prize money. A total of 77 players recorded a cash along the way, with 30 contenders accumulating over $100,000 during the series. Chino Rheem, who finished third in the points race, joined Lonis and Foxen as the only player who surpassed half a million in series earnings.
Lonis now has nearly $15.8 million in career earnings, with nearly $6.2 million coming from his 46 lifetime cashes in PGT events. Lonis finished third in event no. 2, the $5,000 PKO, for $47,700 and 79 PGT points. His only other cash during the first half of the series was a ninth-place showing in the $10,000 PKO for $27,840 and 46 more points.
The majority of Lonis’ haul for the series was earned in a four-day span down the final stretch. He kicked off his strong finish with a runner-up showing in the first of three $15,000 buy-in events, earning $204,750 and 164 points. Two days later he took down the final $15,000 buy-in, walking away with $308,850 and 247 points.
A podium showing in the $25,000 championship event one day later brought his final point total to 662. His success in this festival helped propel him inside the top ten in the season-long PGT standings, with 786 points good for seventh place for the time being.
