The 2018 World Poker Tour stop at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort outside Sacramento, California wrapped up Tuesday with David Larson sitting with all the chips at the end for a nearly $300,000 score. However, it was an amazing hand at the final table between the second and third-place finishers that is the talk of card rooms.
Ian Steinman and former World Series of Poker main event champion Joe McKeehen were the two largest stacks at the table with five left when the mind-boggling hand took place. Four hundred and forty turned out to enter the $3,500 buy-in tournament.

, while McKeehen (about 60 big blinds) was in there with the Q
10. The flop fell A
7 5, and it appeared the hand would be a mundane one thanks to the over-card on the board to Steinman’s pocket pair. However, the turn and the river were set to bring some fireworks and drama.
Fast forward to the river on a final board reading A 7 5 J K, and Steinman had rivered a powerful set of kings while McKeehen had went runner, runner for a superior straight. Remarkably, Steinman was able to avoid doubling up McKeehen thanks to an incredible fold.
