With 45 events still to play anyone could still win gold and the €5,000 first prize at the DevilfishPoker.com Devilympics. Only 25 points separate the top nine on the leaderboard and with 50 points available to each player over five events every day players can still step up to the plate with a strong chance of challenging for a medal.

The Devilympics sees five events taking place every day for 15 days, with €20,000 added to the total prize pool. Olympians will battle for gold (€5,000), silver (€3,000), and bronze (€2,000) as they attempt to accumulate points on the Devilympic leader board. Players will receive the following points for making the final table of any of the Devilympics tournaments:
Gold (first place): 10 points
Silver (second place): 6 points
Bronze (third place): 4 points
Fourth-ninth place: 1 point each
The €1,000 Opening Ceremony Freeroll on Aug. 8 will help warm players up with a €250 bounty on Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott’s head. The leader board then kicks into play as 15 poker-fuelled days of Devilympic events follow with €100 added to the prize pool of each tournament. For the final cool down, the Devilympics will hold another €1,000 freeroll for the closing ceremony on Aug. 24, where there will be yet another €250 bounty on poker Olympian Ulliott.
