England's Ram Vaswani outlasted 769 players to win the World Series of Poker's $1,500 limit hold'em shootout last night to claim $217,438 and his first bracelet.
The final eight players were:

All the players started the final table with $300,000 chips. With everyone having such a nice chip cushion, final table play started off slowly as the players began the feeling-out process. The eliminations started coming after the second hour began.
