The popular Irish poker pro and long-time CardPlayer Europe contributor Roy "The Boy" Brindley beat out William Thorson, Tony G., and Ram Vaswani to come out on top. By doing so, Roy claimed a $122,000 prize and Betfair Poker Masters of Europe Champion title.
"I got to the stage where I was really enjoying playing, winning or losing," said Brindley. "This is the first televised tournament I've won in five years. It means a great deal. More so financially now we have the baby."
Poker fans can view the exciting final table of the Betfair Poker Masters of Europe on SKY Sports on May 29th.
