The Card Player Poker Tour has pulled into Durant, Oklahoma at the Choctaw Casino for a 54-event series that kicked off July 18. The series will conclude with a $1,500+$120 no-limit hold’em main event that begins on Aug. 1 and features a $500,000 guarantee.
A number of preliminary events have already taken place, shattering their respective guarantees with big fields and even bigger prizes. In addition to no-limit hold’em, the series also offers Omaha eight-or-better, pot-limit Omaha and H.O.R.S.E. tournaments.
Players can take advantage of turbo, mega and super satellites that are running throughout the series with buy-ins of as little as $65.
