Metal Singer And Actress Battle For $60,000 Pot On ‘No Gamble, No Future’

The latest episode of No Gamble, No Future on PokerGO featured Phil Hellmuth, Jennifer Tilly, Freddy Hamad, and Mark “Pink” Iannelli playing alongside Randy “3Coin” Sadler, Pedro Velasco, and newcomers Luiz “Brazil God” Rizental and Alex Aqel.

Tilly, who occupies rare air as the only Academy Award nominee to win a World Series of Poker bracelet, was back at the tables for some more cash game action. The Bride of Chucky actress has become a regular on poker shows, with more than 100 episodes recorded to date, according to HighRollPoker.com.

Tilly got tangled up with Iannelli, the Chicago-based singer of the progressive metal band Pterodactyl King, which released a self-titled album in 2023.

The Hand

Mark IanelliPedro Velasco opened the action to $500, Iannelli called, as did Aqel and Sadler. Tilly raised to $4,000 from the big blind holding AA, and Iannelli called holding 109. Aqel said, “What’s $4,000 between friends?” and threw in the call.

The flop came 872. Tilly checked, and Iannelli bet $6,000. Aqel mucked. Tilly set the trap with a call, and the turn was the 3. She checked again.

Iannelli shoved for $17,775. “Maybe I let too many cards come out,” Tilly said. “What are we looking at?”

The dealer counted down Iannelli’s stack. “I hate to play aces because they always get cracked,” Tilly revealed. “Maybe I should not be so scared about aces, and maybe you have deuce-seven for two pair. I guess I have to call.”

Iannelli let out a deep sigh and with a defeated face, windmilled his open-ended straight draw to the dealer. The pot was north of $60,000 and he was drawing to only eight outs in the deck.

The Result And Tip

Initially, Tilly asked the dealer for the 4 on the river for a $100 tip. Then she relented to any low card and Iannelli chimed in over the top, “I’ll give you $200 for a six.”

The 9 hit the river, and Tilly doubled the toke to $200 while stacking up the pot.

Tilly is no stranger to dragging big pots. Last year, she found a $300,000 dream spot on High Stakes Poker. She also took a $600,000 pot off of livestream cash game king Andrew Robl.
