Borgata to Offer $500K Guaranteed Prize Pool Event

The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announced today that it will host a $500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool Deep Stack Poker Tournament, making it the largest guaranteed event in Atlantic City history. The buy-in is $2,000, and the no-limit hold’em tournament will take place May 4-6.

Players will start with 30,000 in starting chips, and the tournament structure is similar to that of the Borgata Poker Open and the Borgata Winter Open events. The Borgata poker room will run three qualifying events as follows:

• Sunday, April 27 at 11 a.m. ($215 buy-in)
• Friday, May 2 at 6 p.m. ($430 buy-in)
• Saturday, May 3 at 11 a.m. ($430 buy-in)
