ACR Poker is marking its 25th anniversary with a new $2.5 million guaranteed tournament built around a long qualification window and a cumulative stack format.
The 25th Anniversary Tournament begins this Saturday, July 18 and gives players more than two months to qualify for day 2. The $250 buy-in event features 21 total day 1 flights, with players able to enter multiple flights and combine every qualifying stack they bag along the way.
Unique Format
The structure gives players a reason to keep firing even after they have already secured a day 2 seat. Anyone who advances through more than one day 1 flight will have those stacks added together, creating a chance to return for day 2 with a much larger chip total.
The schedule begins with 11 Saturday-only day 1 turbo flights, running weekly from July 18 through Sept. 26. The tournament then adds 10 day 1 Regular Flights beginning Sunday, Aug. 30 and continuing through Sunday, Sept. 27.
Players looking for a lower-cost path into the $250 event will also have satellite options. A $27.50 mega satellite is scheduled for 10:45 am ET before each Saturday turbo flight.
Moneymaker Poker Tour Aruba
ACR Poker players have one final opportunity to win their way to Aruba as the final Beast satellite awards 10 guaranteed packages this Sunday, July 19 to the Moneymaker Poker Tour main event.
The $95 online qualifier begins at 5:05 pm ET and features $50,000 in total package value. Players can buy in directly or earn free entry through The Beast weekly leaderboard.
Each of the 10 winners will receive a $5,000 package for the $400,000 guaranteed Moneymaker Poker Tour main event in Aruba this September.
The package includes a $1,700 main event entry and a five-night stay for two adults at the TRYP by Wyndham Aruba. Check-in is scheduled for Sept. 23, with check-out on Sept. 28. Winners will also receive $1,000 toward airfare and another $1,000 in spending money.
Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms
The events are part of what is shaping up to be a major summer and early fall at ACR Poker. The site is also preparing for its record-setting Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, which will feature a combined $15 million guaranteed this August.
That schedule also includes a $12 Million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event with a $500,000 top bounty and a $3 Million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event with a $250,000 top bounty. More than 1,500 seats are also guaranteed through the Venom Fever satellite promotion.
