After three years at the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, the World Series of Poker Paradise will move to the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas in December.

The series announced the shift in resorts on Friday in a post on Twitter/X and promised a stepped-up series at the new venue.

Series Has Grown Each Year

The WSOP Paradise launched in 2023 and became a popular addition to the WSOP brand. The first series included a $5,000 main event. It drew 3,010 entries and Germany’s Stanislav Segal won the $2 million first place prize.

WSOP executives added the series’ signature $25,000 super main event in 2024 and featured a $50 million guarantee. The event saw 1,978 entries, and China’s Yinan Zhou won the tournament, collecting $6 million.

In 2025, the guarantee was hiked to $60 million. The field reached 2,891 entries and ultimately produced a $72.3 million prize pool. Austria’s Bernhard Binder came out on top, pocketing $10 million.

PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Moved to Baha Mar in 2023

The series runs in December. It generally features around 15 events. The WSOP hasn’t released the number of events planned for this year at the new property. GGPoker and WSOP Online in the US send numerous qualifiers to the series each year.

Like the Atlantis location, Baha Mar offers a complete beachside resort experience with a water park on site. The property is home to the largest casino in the Caribbean. Unlike at Atlantis, players can take advantage of a golf course on site.

Atlantis previously hosted the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure for several years, before that event also switched to the Baha Mar in 2023.

GGPoker parent company NSUS purchased the WSOP in 2024 for $500 million and has worked to expand the brand around the world.

In related news, the WSOP Online schedule for this summer was released last week and features 30 events.
