There are certain days at the poker table where everything just seems to go right. For most players, there isn’t a detailed record of the action, but Henry Guttman’s beautiful day happened in front of the entire poker-watching world on a recent episode of Hustler Casino Live.
Guttman’s big hands held, his bluffs all got through, and he added even more money to his stack by racking up bonuses in a bounty game that rewards winning consecutive pots.
The first sign that things were really going Guttman’s way came in a five-way preflop battle. With the stakes at $50-$100, HCL founder Ryan Feldman opened to $500 with A♦Q♦. Jasper Ma three-bet to $1,000 with 5♠3♦, and Britney Jing called in the cutoff with J♠10♦. Carl Shaw four-bet to $6,000 with pocket nines, and the action finally reached Guttman in the small blind. He looked down at pocket sevens, and promptly cold five-bet to $21,000.
Everyone but Shaw got out of the way, and the Q♠8♥2♣ flop didn’t slow things down. Guttman bet $11,000, and Shaw called. Both players had less than a pot-sized bet behind. After the K♠ turn checked through, the 6♣ fell on the river. Guttman ripped it all in, and Shaw reluctantly let it go. Guttman showed his bluff, and it was off to the races as he scooped a $109,225 pot.
Guttman’s aggression was relentless throughout the night. When he needed the cards to fall in his favor, they seemed to do so in almost every key pot. A flopped top pair of sixes with 10♦6♦ turned into a runner-runner full house, taking a full stack from Jing on the river and a pot worth $171,300.
Earning A $7,000 Tip
The entire four hours of live-streamed action seemed to head in that direction. With the exception of Ma, who managed to book himself a $141,400 win, everything went Guttman’s way. He triggered the bounty game on multiple occasions, collected $1,000 and $2,000 payouts from all of his opponents.
The final blow came in a truly outlandish climax. With Jing, Feldman, and Dr. Prabhakar Patel in for $1,200, Guttman exerted maximum pressure from his straddle as he looked to collect more bounties from his opponents, with a raise to $21,200. A four-way all in quickly came together, as Jing put in $21,675, Feldman stuck in $34,875, and Patel put his $35,475 in the middle. Guttman called it all, threatening to effectively clean out the game.

Adding an extra layer of intrigue, Guttman offered a $5,000 tip for the dealer if he won both boards, as they would be running it twice. The first runout wasn’t great for Guttman at the start, with a 5♥3♣2♥ flop. But the 4♣ turn and 7♣ river gave him a flush. After locking down the first board, and more bounties, Guttman increased his offer.
“Come on,” said Guttman, turning to the dealer. “$7K, Tawni, if I win this one.”
Guttman flopped a Q♦ and held off a flush draw on the second board. Before the giant pot had even been pushed to him, Henry dropped a red $5,000 chip and two green $1,000 chips to the dealer, as promised.
The game continued for a short stretch, but wrapped up soon thereafter. Guttman gave back a little bit, but walked away a $211,025 winner on the night.
