There are plenty of fireworks in the early going of CoinPoker’s High Stakes Cash Game World Championship. That included two massive bluffs from a high-stakes online poker regular.
The competition is comprised of no-limit hold’em action at stakes of $50-$100 with 100-big blind initial buy-ins. It kicked off on Nov. 10 and has seen a ton of action thus far.
‘Daniiiiil’ is one of the regulars in the contest, currently in 20th on the leaderboard. In one of the early sessions, he fired multiple triple-barrel bluffs, including one against nosebleed-stakes regular ‘SeaLlama.’
SeaLlama raised under-the-gun to $220 and Daniiiiil, who finished runner-up in the January event, three-bet to $750 from the cutoff.
The flop was J♣5♥5♠ and SeaLlama checked. Daniiiiil bet $907 and SeaLlama called. The turn was the Q♠ and SeaLlama checked again. Daniiiiil bet $970 and SeaLlama called again. On the river, the board was completed with the 6♥.
SeaLlama checked for a third time and Daniiiiil shoved all in for $8,167, covering SeaLlama’s last $7,372. SeaLlama folded. In this contest, the winner of the hand must show his cards, regardless of whether or not the pot goes to showdown.
Daniiiiil tabled A♥K♦ and won the pot.
Daniiiiil Runs A Second Triple Barrel Vs. ‘riggedeck’
It wasn’t long before he was back at it again. This time, ‘Dunkaroos’ raised to $250 from the hijack and ‘riggedeck’ three-bet to $850 from the cutoff. Daniiiiil cold four-bet to $2,700 from the big blind and only riggedeck called.
The flop was Q♠6♣3♣ and Daniiiiil bet $1,596. riggedeck called. The turn was the 6♥ and Daniiiiil bet again, this time, $2,489. Once again, riggedeck called. The river was the K♠ and Daniiiiil moved all in for $6,786.
riggedeck folded and Daniiiiil showed A♦5♦, winning another pot with just ace-high.

The Cash Game World Championship runs through Dec. 7 and gives no-limit hold’em players a chance to earn a piece of a $100,000 prize pool and a Land-Dweller Rolex valued at $35,000. Players battle in rake-free cash games with the first-place finisher scoring $35,000 and the Rolex.
Competitors must play at least 20,000 hands to be eligible for the top five prizes. Weekend VIP games run every Sunday hosted by a VIP with five other qualifying players. CoinPoker tracks progress through a daily leaderboard and players earn points on the leaderboard through their expected win, not their actual winnings.
