Alija Filipovic of Croatia has won the PokerStars Eureka Poker Tour Croatia taking down €42,700 after a two-way deal with runner up Mate Mecs from Hungary.
Filipovic topped the 171-strong field in the €1,000 + €100 buy in event at the Golden Sun Casino in Zagreb and held a 3:1 chip lead over Mecs going into heads up. Mecs got his chip stack back to even with the Croat but was ultimately defeated running A-J into A-K.

The second stop on season II of the Eureka Poker Tour takes place at the Golden Sands Casino, Sunny Beach, Bulgaria from June 4 to 10, 2012.
