British bookmaker Ladbrokes is reportedly in talks with Israli gaming operator Playtech, owner of the iPoker network.
The merged entity would be worth £2.2 billion according to the Daily Telegraph which broke the story however Playtech’s current relationship with William Hill could prove a stumbling block analysts told the paper.
Neiter company would comment on the speculation surrounding a possible deal.
Ladbrokes is also in exploratory merger talks with 888.com.
