Updates on Final Day (Jul 15, 07)

Final Winner Presentation

Mike Sexton is currently signing off on the broadcast, talking to runner up Mike Matusow.  Matusow is clearly disappointed, fighting off tears, speaking about how he spent the whole tournament fighting from the short stack.  Early on in Day 1, Matusow moved his last few thousand chips in with K-Q vs. pocket Aces.  The river gave him a flush to keep him alive and he turned that momentum into a second place finish.

While talking to Kevin "BeLOWaBOVe" Saul, Sexton tells the audience how Saul is one of the few people to ever lead a tournament wire to wire.  Saul made a crucial adjustment after faltering early on and was able to bounce back and take the title.  Saul thanks his family and friends for all their support throughout his struggles in poker.
