Outcome
With the blinds at 3,000-6,000, O'Dwyer raised to 12,000 from the button, Iversen called in the big blind. On the flop, Iversen checked, O'Dwyer bet 30,000, Iversen called. On the turn, Iversen checked, O'Dwyer went all in, Iversen called and was all in.
Analysis
Iversen defended his big blind against the button's min-raise, flopping second pair. He probably expected a continuation-bet from O'Dwyer, who managed to flop top pair and indeed bet the flop. When another undercard to Iversen's nines peeled off on the turn and his opponent set him all in, Iversen decided to go with his hand. O'Dwyer's large bet got the call from a suspicious player who thought his passive line might have baited a bluff. Iversen's pair was no good, and he finished 24th, for $17,987.
