Clonie Gowen - Bio

Former beauty queen Clonie Gowen is not just a pretty face. She has been turning heads at the poker table ever since she followed up her top-10 finish in the World Poker Tour Costa Rica Challenge with a WPT Ladies Night win.

Gowen, born in 1971, grew up in Kiowa, Oklahoma, where she held the title of Miss Teen Oklahoma. She now lives in Las Vegas and follows the tournament circuit. She made two television appearances in 2005, when she placed seventh in the $2,000 no-limit hold'em Ultimate Poker Challenge and third in the FullTiltPoker.net Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.

In 2008, Gowen won two events, a preliminary event in the Bellagio Cup IV for $438,000 and another prelim, this time in the World Poker Open for $183,000.
