Johan Storakers Bio

Johan Storakers was born in Stockholm, Sweden. At age six, he was playing seven-card stud for pennies. These days, he's winning millions playing poker.

Storakers decided to make poker his profession in 1997 but didn't make his first major tournament cash until the 2002 World Series of Poker, where he finished fourth in a $1,500 pot-limit hold'em event. At the 2005 Aruba Poker Classic, he finished third, for $300,000. In 2008, Storakers returned to Aruba and took home nearly $500,000 for a runner-up finish.
