Charity Poker -- Nancy Cartwright Announces 5th Annual Monte Carlo Night

Bring Out the Denim and Diamonds for the October 2nd Star-Studded Fundraising Event -- It’s all about the Kids!

Monte Carlo Night InvitationFor the fifth year in a row Nancy Cartwright will host a Monte Carlo Night fundraiser event that will benefit multiple charities in the Southern California area. The event will take place on Saturday, October 2 and it will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are available online and the donation to attend as a guest is $150, to attend the fundraiser and play in the poker tournament the donation is $300.

Once again, 500 or more guests will swarm Nancy Cartwright’s Northridge “House that Bart built” decked out in Denim and Diamonds for the fifth annual Monte Carlo Night. This year, Cartwright Entertainment has added the Boys and Girls Club of the West Valley as an additional beneficiary. The last four years’ fundraising efforts helped to raise money for the building of the Councilman Greig Smith LAPD Devonshire PALS Youth Center. Devonshire PALS (Police Activities League Supporters) will again be a beneficiary to support many of the programs at the Center.

You can play no-limit hold’em with Nancy and her celebrity friends and poker pros. Those who support the event include Kirstie Alley, Camryn Manheim, Brad Garrett, Jose Conseco, Patrick Cassidy, Michelle Stafford, Bill Smitrovich, Bryan Cranston, Lou Diamond Phillips, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Kristin Cruz, Lisa Stanley, and many, many more. Co-hosting the poker tournament are poker pros Jerry Yang (2007 World Series of Poker main event winner) and Mary Jones (WSOP ladies event winner).

Participants will get a rare opportunity to play with WSOP bracelet winners. Pros who continue to be fans of the event include Annie Duke, Barbara Enright, Jamie Gold (2006 WSOP main event winner), Jennifer Harman, Men “The Master” Nguyen, Todd Brunson, Marsha Waggoner and many more. Mary Jones will conduct her popular Texas hold’em “boot camp” and actor/singer Dorian Harewood will be holding black jack lessons.

The top five winners will each receive a seat for a WSOP 2011 satellite tournament, and one top-ten winner will receive a private poker lesson with Annie Duke. In addition to the tournament, there will be casino games, dinner catered by The Kitchen, open bars, a cigar lounge, and great entertainment with Nathan Osmond and Dee Dee O’Malley, featuring special guest performances. There will be line dancing lessons with Palmer Davis and dancing to the music of the Saint Tones. There will be better-than-ever raffle and auction items including Polanti watches, art and signed limited edition lithographs, VIP tickets to various shows, memorabilia and very special experiences including joining hostess Nancy Cartwright for a table reading of The Simpsons.
