Card Player Poker Tour: Season II Continues at Foxwoods
The Foxwoods $1,650 Main Event Winner Will Become the Third Champion of Season II
Season II of the Card Player Poker Tour will continue on this month, making its third stop of the season at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut Feb. 8-17. The stop comes on the heels of the Palm Beach Kennel Club, which wrapped up Dec. 16 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The much anticipated series will kick off with a $600 no-limit hold’em $100,000 guarantee and will conclude with a $300 no-limit hold’em $20,000 guarantee. The winner of the $1,650 no-limit hold’em $300,000 guarantee main event will become the third champion of Season II and join bestbet Jacksonville winner Harvey Vandeven and Palm Beach Kennel Club winner John McNulty on the list of champions.
Guaranteed prize pools have been added to all 11 tournaments and range from $10,000 for the $250 Omaha eight-or-better or better to $75,000 for $300 and $400 no-limit hold’em tournaments. Players can pre-purchase tickets to any or all of the 11 tournaments by visiting pockertickets.com/foxwoods.
The upcoming stop is also sure to shake up the current CPPT leaderboard, currently led by Vandeven, Timothy Miles and McNulty.
