Two casinos in Laughlin, Nevada could deal one lucky gambler a full house. The Aquarius and Edgewater casinos, located about 90 minutes south of Las Vegas, are upping the ante in casino prizes with a new home up for grabs.
Casino executives value the single-family home at $300,000. The winner also scores $60,000 in cash. The promotion is open to the casinos’ rewards club members and runs through April 18.
Golden Entertainment owns both properties. Senior Vice President of both casinos, Jeremy Jenson, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he believed the home giveaway was the largest prize the company had handed out in two decades.
“Players who trust us with their time and their loyalty deserve rewards that could change their lives,” he said. “This is our way of delivering value through life-changing promotions.”
Home Is On Other Side Of Colorado River In Arizona
Players at the properties earn one entry into weekly drawings for $500 per 50 same-day slot points. Then, the casino will put those winners into a drawing for the house. Another 10 last-chance winners will be added to the mix on April 18 before the final drawing.
The winner then scores a 1,619-square-foot home in Bullhead City, AZ, which is located across from Laughlin on the other side of the Colorado River. A winner who does want the home can take $210,000 in cash instead.
In other slot machine news, a player at Caesars Palace won three jackpots in three hours in 2024 for a total of $667,750. A year earlier, a slot fan at Excalibur won a jackpot of $12.2 million on a $10 wager on a Megabucks machine.
In 2025, one man didn’t quite get the result he was looking for during his slot play in an Oklahoma casino. After believing he should have been awarded a $600,000 jackpot, he physically attacked the machine, injuring himself in the process. He later woke up in the emergency room and faced a criminal investigation.
