Ryan Hoenig emerged victorious from a field of 83 entries in the $10,000 T.O.R.S.E. event at the 2026 PokerGO Tour Mixed Games series. He secured $232,400 and his second career PGT title. His first came when he won the 2025 World Series of Poker dealers choice event for $354,444 and a bracelet.
Hoenig now boasts nearly $1.8 million in career tournament earnings, with his four largest scores all coming in non-no-limit hold’em events.
In addition to the money and the trophy, Hoenig was also awarded 232 PGT points for this triumph. This was his second final table at the festival, having placed sixth in event no. 2 for $24,500 and 37 points. With 269 total points, he now sits atop the series standings.
Hoenig earned 480 Card Player Player of the Year points, as well. This was his third overall title and fifth final-table finish of 2026. With 936 total points, he now sits inside the top 30 in the overall standings presented by CoinPoker.
This event took the time-tested H.O.R.S.E. rotation and substituted triple-draw deuce-to-seven lowball for limit hold’em. The strong turnout built a prize pool of $830,000, with the top 12 finishers making the money. Several big names ran deep, including four-time bracelet winner Phil Hui (11th), bracelet winner Chris Wallace (8th), two-time bracelet winner Dylan Weisman (5th), and three-time bracelet winner Qinghai Pan (3rd).
Hoenig defeated 2025 WSOP $10,000 limit Omaha eight-or-better championship winner Philip Sternheimer heads-up to lock up the title. Sternheimer earned $149,400 as the runner-up, along with enough points to put him within reach of the top spot for the time being.
