My experience is that if you win a hand UTG and quit the table immediately after the hand, PokerTracker will miss the hand. Also, if you drop your connection and recover to play out a hand, PokerTracker will miss that hand, too.
Jon, the updates on your 100k challenge are very confusing. You said last week that you were up $800 in July. In this episode, you say you won $1,900 over the last week. Outstanding. That's up $2,700 this month. Then you say you are up $1,600 for the month. Huh? What? You've lost track of a grand!
I've posted comments every week that track your results because I don't believe you will make your challenge because 6 tables will not generate enough hands to win 2k a week. If you are up $531 (Adding in your lost 300.) then your monthly win would be near $2,600 and your weekly win would be around $1,800. I have no idea where the July win of $1,600 came from.
I'm going to use your overall total and adjust the running weekly results accordingly – including in the $300 found in the comment – and ignore the $1,600 amount.
Running weekly totals are: -2700 + 1500 - 1500 + 1100 + 0 - 500 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 800 + 1800 = +500
One quarter is now gone. Jon must now win $99,500 in 39 weeks – $2,551 a week.
Oh, since this is a learning challenge, have you learned to play more than 6 tables to have a chance at winning 2k a week?
