Level 23 Begins

The blinds are now 10,000-20,000 with a 2,000 ante for the start of Level 23.

Konstantinos Pantardis Eliminated in Sixth Place ($13,200)

Konstantinos Pantardis moved all in from the big blind on a board reading 10Diamond Suit6Spade Suit4Heart SuitKSpade Suit9Heart Suit after a series of bets and raises had built a nice pot between him and Brian Washington (hijack). Washington had led on the river with a bet of 90,000 and he quickly called Konstantinos’ all-in raise of 227,000, which made Washington the at-risk player. Konstantinos held 10Heart Suit7Diamond Suit but Washington was ahead with AClub SuitKDiamond Suit. Washington doubled up to more than 600,000 and Konstantinos was crippled after the hand.

One hand later Erik Chirstensen raised to 32,000 on the button and Konstantinos called all in on the small blind. Kevin Baker reraised all in for 194,000 on the big blind and Christensen called to cover them both. The three players then tabled their cards.

Baker: AClub SuitKClub Suit
Konstantinos: 7Spade Suit7Heart Suit
Chrsitensen: ASpade SuitQClub Suit

Baker won the hand to double up to close to 400,000 and Christensen was down to 880,000 after the hand. Konstantinos was eliminated in sixth place and he took home $13,200 in prize money.
