Francois Safieddine Bio

Francois Safieddine was born on February 5, 1969 in Lebanon and moved to the United States in 1989 to go to school at the University of Colorado. He studied business but didn't quite finish. Instead, he jumped right into owning his own businesses. His company, Lotus Entertainment, owns several bars in the Denver area.

Six years ago, Safieddine started playing poker in home games with his friends. He visited Las Vegas numerous times on vacation and eventually wandered into the Bellagio where he won his first big tournament. Recently, he took down one of the most prestigious poker titles when he won a World Series of Poker bracelet in the 2007 $2,500 buy-in no-limit hold'em event.
