John Juanda will need a first or second-place finish in the main event to catch Frank Kassela in the player of the year race. That would be a hard task regardless, but add the fact that he is seated right next to David Benyamine and the odds are even more difficult. A Reunion 2005 main event runner-up Steve Dannenmann has shown up and is in the field today. Interestingly enough, despite a massive field he is seated at the table right next to the table featuring the man who beat him that year, Joe Hachem. Featured Today The ESPN main stage is currently occupied by 2009 main event runner-up Darvin Moon. He has been hard to spot at this year’s WSOP but he is getting the bulk of the camera time today.
