Layne Flack Bio

This poker professional lives as fast as he plays, and is one of the most entertaining characters on the circuit. Flack picked up the nickname "Back-to-Back" after consecutive wins at the World Series of Poker.

Born May 18, 1969, in Rapid City, South Dakota, Flack was introduced to poker while working at a casino, and he played regularly after work. He eventually quit his job to concentrate his efforts on the game. Johnny Chan helped him to improve and encouraged him to get more rest before attacking the tables, and Huck Seed spurred him on to compete in tournaments.

He's won six World Series of Poker bracelets, in the 1999 pot-limit hold'em, the 2002 $2,000 no-limit hold'em, the 2002 $1,500 no-limit hold'em, the 2003 Omaha eight-or-better, the 2003 limit hold'em shootout, and the 2008 $1,500 pot-limit Omaha with rebuys events.
