Joe Tehan was born in Utica, N.Y. He began playing poker in college while getting his Masters in Business Administration. After college, Tehan moved to Las Vegas to become professional poker player.
Since making his career choice, Tehan has made more than $2 million playing tournaments. He has multiple major cashes and won a World Poker Tour, title in 2006 at the Mandalay Bay Poker Championship.
