Bally’s Interactive announced that it’s investing in upgrades for the widely watched Live at The Bike stream at The Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California.

Bally’s Interactive, the digital gaming unit of Bally’s Corporation, acquired LATB late last year, rebranding to Bally’s Presents Live at The Bike.

“Planned show enhancements include a new set, lighting, 4K cameras, improved audio, handheld camera operators to better capture the action, and a new commentator booth,” the company said in a presser.

As part of the revamped stream, Bally’s Interactive will utilize in-house free-to-play game resources to provide new ways for viewers to engage with the content. Viewers will now be able to play along.

The new version of the show will debut Saturday, April 30 at 3 p.m. PT. A “star-studded lineup” is expected, said Bally’s.

“We are excited to take a poker pioneer and elevate its content through gamification and second-screen experiences,” said Adi Dhandhania, COO of North America for Bally’s Interactive. “Live at The Bike originally made its name by making the sport more entertaining and accessible to all types of poker enthusiasts. Bally’s aims to continue that mission and bring a whole new audience to the stream.”

According to the announcement, veteran television network showrunners Houston Curtis and Rick Mahr of Outlaw Media Group will serve as executive producers of the new stream.

“Live at the Bike was the first poker broadcast to bring us LIVE poker. And now, with a great partner in Bally’s we are about to make LIVE poker history again,” said Curtis. “Be prepared for an immersive, interactive experience that we are confident will bring something fresh to the genre. Re-imagining LATB and bringing it up to television broadcast standards was at the forefront of our plans from the moment we partnered with Bally’s. In addition to streaming on our site LIVEattheBike.com, YouTube, Twitch and Facebook live, we have immediate plans to expand our distribution footprint to television and beyond.”

LATB, launched in 2005, is one of the most popular poker streams in history, covering colorful live high stakes games with many unforgettable hands. The show has more than 100 million views on YouTube.
