Poker pro Doug Polk announced on his YouTube channel and Twitter account that he’s a part-owner of a live poker room in the state of Texas.

Polk, along with prominent poker pros and content creators Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme, own a reported majority of the The Lodge Poker Club & Card Room in Austin, Texas. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Polk, a three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner from California, said he made a “substantial investment” in the club, which has as many as 60 tables. The room is part of a reported flourishing poker scene in the Lone Star State. According to Polk, there are 60 rooms in the state.

The Lodge is said to be the largest poker room in the city.

Under Texas rules, the poker rooms can’t take a traditional rake, but they can charge fees for memberships and gameplay. The rooms host both tournaments and cash games.

Other partners in the poker room include Mike Brady, Ryan Fee, Matt Colletta, and Thomas Keeling, according to Polk.
