Island Nation Looking To Stabilize Economy

A banking-sector crisis in the island nation of Cyprus has caused the government to look for ways to prevent the economy there from going into a deep recession. One of the methods or ideas being thrown around is to authorize casinos, according to reports.

Gambling joints currently operate the Turkish-controlled northern part of the island.
