SNE Progress

Change in Plans
Well, I have officially decided to set my sights on 800k vpp this year instead of 1,000,000. It seems like the right choice as I've been spending a lot of time working on my game, and when PokerStars made the recent changes to the VPP system, they have allowed 2011 SNE's to maintain SNE through 2013 as long as you earn at least 500k VPPs throughout the year, without missing 50k VPPs a month for 10 months (you can miss two months).

I did some rough calculations, and I will be missing out on about 35K in bonus and milestone cash. Because I will still be SNE, I don't have to worry about losing value for 2013 from the 5X fpp to every 1 vpp, which is one of the best perks of being SNE because you get fpps faster for those nice $4,000 bonuses.

800k vs. 1,000,000 VPPs
Currently being at 200k VPP, if I wanted to reach SNE:
Hands needed to be played: 2,670,000
Hours to be played: approx. 1,780

To reach 800k vpp:
Hands needed to be played: 2,000,000
Hours to be played: approx.1,333

So, I end up saving around 477 hours! It will allow me to put in quality over quantity, work more on my game away from the tables, release more content on Ultimate Grinders, play more sports, and enjoy more life. I'll still be SNE, still be 'ultimate grindin', and I feel good about this.

WSOP
It's looking like I'll also be able to make it out to Vegas for some WSOP action. I don't think I'll be playing the ME, although I would love to. If by any chance anyone reading this wants to, or knows someone who is interested in staking people, then contact me. It is a lot of work to find various investors, and I just don't feel like dealing with it unless it is an easy transaction with 3 or 4 investors maximum.  Last year, I sold multiple shares, and I just found it a bit of a headache. I would be willing to invest about 20%-30%.

I'll probably end up going down around the WSOP $1,000 ladies event, that I will for sure play in, and then see what I feel like doing.  In the past I've always played a bunch of tournaments, but I think I'd rather just play cash and take it easy. Getting up for those tournament start times can be brutal.
