Doyle's Blog

I love Doyles Blogs, he is my favorite poker blogger.

I agree with most of what he says and that is the case with his most recent blog.

As Doyle says, our country is indeed in a lot of trouble economically and there is only one way we can pay off all the debts we have accrued over the years….print more money. This will make the dollar worth less and less until eventually it is worthless. This, however, is not only a problem for the dollar, but all fiat money. A government that can print money is like a woman with a credit card that she never sees the statement for, out of control. That is why I have said in the past, and will say it again, don’t keep your assets in dollars, pounds, euros, yen, none of them, they will all lose there value.

I disagree with Doyle about this Arizona law though.

I don’t like a law that gives any “yahoo” with a badge the right to walk up and demand to see your papers. The very people that are happiest about this should ideologically be the most opposed. All these Tea party people protesting big government with signs depicting Obama with a Hitler mustache should be flocking to Arizona to rally against this. This is government intrusion to an extreme and in fact does bear some semblance to what happened in Germany. It is not just illegals that are subject to this law, it is every US citizen as well. Granted in this case they are only meant to target people with at least a nice tan and brown eyes, but I still don’t like it. Illegal immigration may be a problem but there have to be better way’s to address it. If you catch someone in this country illegally committing a real crime than by all means do whatever you need to, brand them for all I care, but don’t take away peoples rights to walk the streets without being subjected to police interrogation based on there race or any other reason.

Again...you listen to this guy Watkinson...you see a classic liberal. Immediately he brings race into any arguement...especially an arguement that he is losing. Lee (and all you other libtards)...please read the law, before you spout off. You take your cues from the state-controlled leftist wing media...and automatically in lockstep (goosestep?) condemn something you know nothing about. Have you read the law Lee???? HELL NO you haven't. Because if you did, you would realize it mirrors what the Federal already says!!! You know, the federal law that your worshipped president refuses to enforce..... You bringing race into it just confirms what we all already know about you liberals....when you can't win an arguement, you start calling names....and your favorite name is 'racist'. so again, 2010, the true defination of a racist is this....

Racist- someone who wins an arguement with a liberal

It's funny how many people really don't know what the AZ law states. It says that if someone is being "pulled over" for an infraciton of the law, the officer may request proof of legal residence. All AZ is doing is following federal law, and enacting it's state law enforcement to do the job the federal govt is supposed to do. Hey, Lee, next time you get pulled over for speeding, I dare you to refuse to show your driver's license.

And these Nazi analogies are insults to every Jewish person on Earth. It's a typical smear tactic when logic fails to win your agrument. Nazis rounded up people without cause and shipped them to DEATH CAMPS. AZ law allows law enforcement to inquire about legal residence status AFTER AN INFRACTION HAS OCCURRED with the possibility of *gasp* being sent back to your home country.

Unless sending a Mexican to Mexico is guaranteed to have the same end result of sending a Jew to a gas chamber, I'd rethink your Nazi comparison.

Lee,

As a political science major it is funny hearing poker players trying to argue about politics. I love Doyle and his blog but i do not think he truly grasps what raising import taxes to a high level means. this is a form of Import Substitution, lots of Latin American Countries use to do (and still do) this method. All it does is make your industries less competitive on the open market because they do not have competition. It almost always leads to worse production and tends to breed industries that do not export on an international level. This is completely against neoliberal economic policies that made this country and others so great. The only countries that really benefit from ISI are fledging (infant industry) nations. Look at what happened to Chili when they went away from this method.
Lee you also have absolutely no idea what the Arizona law states. Your analogies are ludicrous and have already been addressed in above posts. If you do not know about a subject (politics) just save your opinions till you do.

My 2 cents are that something needs to be done to get control of this immigration situation. I mean there is no other country that has as relaxed an immigration policy as we do. We have 10.4 million people living illegally and thats the key.... they are not legal citizens. I dont know what the right answer is but we cant make them all citizens. I also dont believe that its reasonable to try to deport them all. Untill I can go to another country....stay there illegally and work. Then when the citizens get frustrated have that government give me actual legal status..... i am against giving legal status to all people here illegally. I mean when would it stop? If we do that we should just make Mexico a state and deal with it that way. At least if we do that I could own property there and see some benifit from the deal.

There may be spelling errors... I know I dont spell check.

I forgot about the economic protectionist part of Doyle's blog and never addressed it. I don't think protectionism would be helpful.

I also believe the AZ law REQUIRES local cops demand proof of residency from anyone they encounter who they expect might be in the country illegally. You as a US citizen would be committing a crime by giving a mexican looking individual a ride without checking his papers as well, as I understand it.

First off, great blog Lee...But I have to say, these people are here ILLEGALLY. If you enforce all the tax laws, civil laws, ect...you cant just turn a blind eye to people here illegally...its illegal. If I was in Mexico/Russia/France/where ever, and didnt have a passport, I probably would get arrested and deported (and probably stuck in a rat hole jail). I just dont know why if I dont pay a speeding ticket, I go to jail....but if someone is here illegally, they get a free pass and no one is looking for them. Good luck.

The Arizona law is racial profiling to the extreme and law enforcement officers are required to ask "suspected" illegals to show proof of legal residency. No other requirement than they look potentially illegal. Many Sheriffs in Arizona have already said they will not enforce this law. Many officers of the law refuse to pull someone over just to ask them for their "papers" because of how they look. I applaud those officers because they understand our Constitution and Bill of Rights unlike the "Tea Baggers" who post here and attack Lee for expressing his opinion as a citizen is allowed to do. I also support the rights of the "teabaggers" to express their opinions even though they tend to come from a severley uniformed or misinformed point of view.

The State of Arizona has been forced to pay for the health care, welfare, education, criminal prosecution, etc. of illegal immigrants because the Federal Government refuses to secure its own borders. If Arizona wants control illegal immigration they have every right to do so. The Federal Government is sticking Arizona with the financial costs of a pourous border it fails to secure.

Az businesses want cheap labor. You want to stop illegal immigrants go after the people who hire them. These people do not come here to get on welfare or get healthcare they come hoping to get a job. Az. businesses fought tooth and nail against fines and sanctions against themselves for hiring illegals. As Sheriff Dupnik of Pima county said this law is not enforcable. Said on national tv a law passed by a bunch of politicions who have governed badly trying to fool the public.

I forgot: it's only an attack if it comes from the right. IF it comes from the left, it's taking a stand.

NO ONE is saying ANYONE should pull someone over just to check legal status. But if someone is speeding and gets pulled over, and the cop asks for ID, should he not ask if they are Mexican?

You wanna know who slings the most attacks? People who toss around unfounded accusations like "Nazi" or cheap sexual slurs like "Tea Bagger". Learn some facts, flyer, like that AZ law reinforces fed law, or that the Bill of Rights pertains to legal U.S. citizens.

I'm all for people LEGALLY joining our nation. I am against people ILLEGALLY entering a country and attempting to transform it into their former country. Get a clue.

Texasroadgambler...you just proved my point. You can't win an arguement....because you are a (stupid as usual) liberal, so you resort to the all-too-familiar names you left wingnuts use to label those who beat you in debates, and who are smarter than you. Names like 'racist' 'hick' 'redneck'....etc.

Liberals are so predictable. Thankfully they will mostly be thrown out of the government this fall on election day. Until then....as I can see on the vast majority of those who post here...keep fighting them with the truth. Eventually they will go away and or shut the hell up. Or maybe move to where they feel comfortable...like San Francisco or Hollywierd.

It is a little late to chime in on this, but in response to maximose:

Neoliberal economic policies have made our country "great" at the expense of others. Our model cannot be exported to Latin American countries because our model is based on sucking them dry.

Using Chile as an example is especially sick. Don't forget the brutal dictatorship behind their economic success. You equate GDP with well being. At some point growth becomes cancer.

As for Arizona: I can't get over the fact that Arizona, of all states, is doing this. Arizona is rightfully Mexican territory. I remember when I went down the Baja. A friend asked jokingly why America just didn't take over Mexico a long time ago. I didn't know then that we already had, at least the best parts.

Plus, the Mexican peoples are only a small part Spanish ancestry. They are mostly native blood. They have a birthright to that entire region, if not the continent.

Anyways , thanks for making a post about it, Lee. It has been very upsetting to read about. They say the governor just made an amendment reaffirming that racial profiling will not be used. So I ask, what is the point to the law at all? It is a catch22 of epic pointlessness other than expressing misguided populist hate.

This redeems you completely for wanting to feel up Muslims.

Opinions are typically the merging of facts with beliefs.

This discussion is long on opinion and belief, short on facts. If a person believes in open borders, then this new law is oppressive. If a person believes there is no worse oppression than having to carry documentation of citizenship, then this law is like Nazi Germany. If a person believes all the Mexicans here illegally should be rounded up and bussed back to the border, then this law is long overdue. If a person believes that Arizona is being overrun by drug dealers willing to kidnap and kill to protect their profits, then this law is just a first step.

If someone would like to read the actual bill, here's a copy I've found. http://www.courthousenews.com/2010/04/16/AzSB1070.pdf Unless someone cites a section of the law, I don't believe them concerning the facts of the law because all I'm really hearing is a belief that existed prior to the law's existence. If someone wants to tell me what the law says, quote the section of the law.

My opinion is that Arizona is being invaded by deadly drug dealers. The federal government, by its refusal to secure the border and deport illegals promptly, has subjected Arizon to an armed invasion.

The citizens of Arizona have decided to pay for state prisons and imprison these invaders at state expense because the US Government will not protect them.

It is estimated that one in thirteen people in Arizona are illegal. If that number were only one in 40 or 50 or 100, this law would not be needed.

BECAUSE Arizona is under invasion, everyone there must now identfy whether they are citizen or not. Stop the invasion and the law is not needed. The law is a response to the killings and kidnappings and crimes that the invaders are committing with ever greater frequency.

It is already United States law for every non-citizen in America to have papers at all times showing their status. For most, that's a passport or green card. I'm sure every pro poker player carries his passport on his person when overseas in a tourney. Arizona is simply making it a state crime that duplicates federal crimes because the federals won't lock anyone up or secure the border.

The federal government has allowed an open border. Whether desired or not, that's the fact. The open border is Arizon's problem and they defending themselves as best they can. Up till now, when an invader is caught, they don't do a couple years in federal prison for invading America. They get sent home or let loose and they are back to Arizona to prey on that state's citizens. Arizona is now going to put them in prison. Few will go. Instead, the invaders will head to California and Neveda. Can't wait to see the poker opinions from Vegas after a few hundred thousand invaders hit town. Wonder what the opinions will be when a famous poker player gets kidnapped for ransom?

How many of us go out and about without a license on us? Almost none. Heck, I watched some campus cop show and the kids were getting drunk underage and conviniently had no ID. To jail they went. Cops are not stupid. They know the underage kids are the ones without ID. Arizona cops are not stupid either.

When they encounter someone unable to speak English, nor produce an ID, within 100 miles of the Mexican border, what are the odds they are NOT illegal? No ID, no English, close to the open border, and a US citizen. I'd rather put my money on hitting a gutshot than take 10-1 that they are a citizen.

Regarding cops stopping and frisking every Mexican looking person they see, here is the second paragraph of the law from the site I posted above:

B. FOR ANY LAWFUL CONTACT MADE BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL OR AGENCY OF THIS STATE OR A COUNTY, CITY, TOWN OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THIS STATE WHERE REASONABLE SUSPICION EXISTS THAT THE PERSON IS AN ALIEN WHO IS UNLAWFULLY PRESENT IN THE UNITED STATES, A REASONABLE ATTEMPT SHALL BE MADE, WHEN PRACTICABLE, TO DETERMINE THE IMMIGRATION STATUS OF THE PERSON. THE PERSON'S IMMIGRATION STATUS SHALL BE VERIFIED WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PURSUANT TO 8 UNITED STATES CODE SECTION 1373(c).

The words "lawful contact" were inserted to force cops to have a reason to question someone about their immigration status. Suspicion of being an invader is not enough. In fact, I've read that the words "lawful contact" were replaced with more stingent wording, but I can't find that copy of the law online. Here is that article: http://hotair.com/archives/2010/04/30/az-legislature-fixes-new-immigration-law/?print=1

I'm sure if you are in a car with California plates, with a drivers license from CA, and you speak passable English, they are not going to jail you. Many of us have been pulled over and gotten only warning tickets because we were respectful and admitted we were speeding. Cops are people. They are not going to haul someone to jail unless they are pretty sure they are an invader. I'm sure they will focus on the 20-something gangsters, drug runners who are the ones killing and kidnapping and commiting the crimes.

This guy was flown down by Ford(Kissinger) while the Presidential Palace was still smoldering from being bombed. This is the economic "miracle".
This is still happening in countries like Haiti and Honduras. They oust the elected President. They kill, arrest, or "disappear" dissidents. They abolish political parties and trade unions. Once all these things are out of the way the countries are ripe for economic "reforms" that just happen to benefit the U.S. instead of their people. The WTO is Neoliberalism.

As for everyone else, kick down some knowledge instead insults. Flaming each other is for teenage girls on myspace. If you have a point, put someone in their place with facts instead of rhetoric, anecdotes, and name calling.

And Who_Yaw, Arizona was already INVADED in 1846 by white guys dressed in blue on horses. Of course the pretext for this monumental land grab was to defend displaced Confederate war criminals squatting on Mexican land with black slaves in violation of Mexico's abolitionist laws. You might know this as The Alamo. Isn't great how we can immortalized criminals like Davey Crocket in song a century later. What does that say about our society?

The Problem
USA has developed a credit system that gives people money w(at extortionate rates) without working for it or saving it.This has been going on for more than 50 years. It has resulted in a nation of mainly fat(65% are obese) and spoiled brats (Similar to PH)
The obsession to bolster their self esteem by being"top of the pile" and a show of material goods has generated demand for sure. But paid for with borrowed money!! To cover this up company accounts have been misrepresented and Bankers were finally exposed as the crooks they have always been.

The Solution? (part of it anyway)

Forget the "american dream" BS propaganda you have all bought into

Start saving and spend only the money you earn

Downsize in all areas

Stop trying to be a world superpower--Those days have long gone.

Modify your Financial systems so that competition still exists but it becomes a more even playing field.

Oh dear I must have been dreaming Is this what really happened or is it another online game for kids!!

I guess I draw the line right between the two cases. I think you have to search people at the airport, but it is not essential to demand papers of people going about there business in Arizona. I have no problem with checking people's status once they are arrested and taken to jail.
If you want raid all the meat packing plants and farms go ahead. I don't know who's gonna pick the fruit. I work the fields a little when I was a kid, in the 80' when unemployment was also bad, and there was still pretty much only kids and mexicans, very few gringos, kids or no.
As for meat packing I seriously hope they crackdown on the use of illegals and let the price of meat go up, it is artificially low from other subsidies anyway.

I think people are missing an important point of this law that is so onerous. It's not so much about asking illegals for papers; as has been pointed out, federal law requires green card holders to have it with them. The problem is about asking US CITIZENS for papers. Imagine you are a US citizen, riding in a car with four or five of your friend, say coming home from a softball game. The cop stops the car for speeding. The driver gives his license, but since you are all "mexican looking" or "speak with a spanish accent" the cop suspects you might be illegals. He asks you, riding in the back seat, for proof of citizenship. you don't have your drivers license with you. Under the law, the cop can arrest you and take you to jail until you can prove you are a citizen. THAT'S the big problem. Never in the US has a citizen faced arrest just for not having "papers" with them. That's part of our culture. And it can happen under the new AZ law. That's not what the US is about.

This is from Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen:

I'm Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen. I want to explain SB 1070 which I voted for and was just signed by Governor Jan Brewer. Rancher Rob Krantz was murdered by the drug cartel on his ranch a month ago. I participated in a senate hearing two weeks ago on the border violence, here is just some of the highlights from those who testified.

The people who live within 60 to 80 miles of the Arizona/Mexico Border have for years been terrorized and have pleaded for help to stop the daily invasion of humans who cross their property . One Rancher testified that 300 to 1200 people a DAY come across his ranch vandalizing his property, stealing his vehicles and property, cutting down his fences, and leaving trash. In the last two years he has found 17 dead bodies and two Koran bibles.

Another rancher testified that daily drugs are brought across his ranch in a military operation. A point man with a machine gun goes in front, 1/2 mile behind are the guards fully armed, 1/2 mile behind them are the drugs, behind the drugs 1/2 mile are more guards. These people are violent and they will kill anyone who gets in the way. This was not the only rancher we heard that day that talked about the drug trains.

One man told of two illegal's who came upon his property one shot in the back and the other in the arm by the drug runners who had forced them to carry the drugs and then shot them. Daily they listen to gun fire during the night it is not safe to leave his family alone on the ranch and they can't leave the ranch for fear of nothing being left when they come back.

The border patrol is not on the border. They have set up 60 miles away with check points that do nothing to stop the invasion. They are not allowed to use force in stopping anyone who is entering. They run around chasing them, if they get their hands on them then they can take them back across the border.

Federal prisons have over 35% illegal's and 20% of Arizona prisons are filled with illegal's. In the last few years 80% of our law enforcement that have been killed or wounded have been by an illegal.

The majority of people coming now are people we need to be worried about. The ranchers told us that they have seen a change in the people coming they are not just those who are looking for work and a better life.

The Federal Government has refused for years to do anything to help the border states. We have been over run and once they are here we have the burden of funding state services that they use. Education cost have been over a billion dollars. The healthcare cost billions of dollars. Our State is broke, $3.5 billion deficit and we have many serious decisions to make. One is that we do not have the money to care for any who are not here legally. It has to stop.

The border can be secured. We have the technology we have the ability to stop this invasion. We must know who is coming and they must come in an organized manner legally so that we can assimilate them into our population and protect the sovereignty of our country. We are a nation of laws. We have a responsibility to protect our citizens and to protect the integrity of our country and the government which we live under.

I would give amnesty today to many, but here is the problem, we dare not do this until the Border is secure. It will do no good to forgive them because thousands will come behind them and we will be over run to the point that there will no longer be the United States of America but a North American Union of open borders. I ask you what form of government will we live under?

How long will it be before we will be just like Mexico or any of the other Central American or South American countries? We have already lost our language, everything must be printed in Spanish also. We have already lost our history it is no longer taught in our schools. And we have lost our borders.

The leftist media has distorted what SB 1070 will do. It is not going to set up a Nazi Germany. Are you kidding. The ACLU and the leftist courts will do everything to protect those who are here illegally, but it was an effort to try and stop illegal's from setting up businesses, and employment, and receiving state services and give the ability to local law enforcement when there is probable cause like a traffic stop to determine if they are here legally. Federal law is very clear if you are here on a visa you must have your papers on you at all times. That is the law. In Arizona all you need to show you are a legal citizen is a driver license, MVD identification card, Native American Card, or a Military ID. This is what you need to vote, get a hunting license, etc.. So nothing new has been added to this law. No one is going to be stopped walking down the street etc... The Socialist who are in power in DC are angry because we dare try and do something and that something the Socialist wants us to do is just let them come. They want the "Transformation" to continue.

Maybe it is too late to save America. Maybe we are not worthy of freedom anymore. But as an elected official I must try to do what I can to protect our Constitutional Republic. Living in America is not a right just because you can walk across the border. Being an American is a responsibility and it comes by respecting and upholding the Constitution the law of our land which says what you must do to be a citizen of this country. Freedom is not free.

I'm of Mexican descent and I for one wouldn't have too much of a problem with the situation as described by browser2920, as long as I was compensated for being wrongfully held up if I happened to not have my driver's license on me. I don't want to be in a situation like in the movie Born in East LA. I think $250 per hour of improper detainment might be enough to keep me happy, anything like that provision in the new AZ law? Something like that would also help keep a "yahoo" with a badge from going nuts detaining US CITIZENS that happen to have dark hair and a tan.

Browser thats the whole f'in point. If you have your LICENSE that is enough. It's if you don't have your license and are expected to be illegal. You just need some sort of documentation.

Beliefs combine with facts and we get opinions. My beliefs about cops and people in general is not the same as others here. I believe people, including cops, are basicly lazy. People get off sidewalks and kill grass to save a few seconds on a walk. People bump into others trying to get in the out door rather than open a door - just to save seconds and a few steps. Heck, the remote control was invented because we can't get out of a chair to change a channel on the tv.

Cops are not going to haul people to jail without good cause. No license, accent, brown skin, and away you go. No way! It would mean lots of paperwork for the beat cop, the jail cop, and even more paperwork if the cop is wrong, lawsuit type paperwork.

I foresee this: "Where do you live? Where do you work? Where did you go to school? Who is your boss at work? Why don't you have a license on you? How do you know the driver?" The cops are going to spend a couple minutes getting a feel for the situation. If a cop brings in lots of Americans, he'll get fired for being stupid and a bad cop - just like poker players with no feel get broke.

Arizona has told the world that Arizona is no longer full of fools. If you invade Arizona, you will end up in jail for much longer than you wish.

The federal government needs to lock down the border and enforce America's laws. If you are here legally, you are welcome. If you are here illegally, you're going to jail when you get caught.

If the illegals don't like their home country, change it. Don't come to our country and tell us how terrible we are. If we didn't invite you in, GO HOME! Arizona doesn't like the current state of affairs in Arizona, and they have voted to change THEIR state.

Lee there is a thing called probable cause. The cops in AZ as well as anywhere in the union have to have probable cause to stop and detain someone. You can't just stop someone because you think they are illegal. Probable cause can be as simple as running a stop sign. After running that stop sign you will obviously be asked for your driver's license to prove that you have the right to be driving. If you are illegal it is also obvious that you can't be driving because you are not elligable for a driver's license. In most states it is a crime, a misdemeanor offense. This I believe would get you deported. According to you we can "Brand them" if we want to. I personally work in CA and I would be deporting every other driver I pulled over if this law was in affect here as my city is almost 50% illegal imigrants. To answer your question about the CA driver's license yes it would suffice but you can't get one if you are an illigal alien.

Worried about "any yahoo with a badge" seems to me you are profiling law enforcement. Guess that's ok because you do it. To assume that law enforcement personal will abuse the new law is as wrong as saying every Mexican is an illegal drug dealer.
The law specifically prohibits asking for papers based solely on ethnicity or race. Arizona has an illegal immigrant problem over 25% of Latinos are illegal. They have entered this country by breaking the law of the land. Now I don't know about you but I for one would rather not have someone here who the very first act was to break our laws.
In addition some of these illegals are smuggling and distributing drugs, weapons'people and committing violent crimes(murder, rape, kidnapping etc...). Unfortunately at times for the greater good of society people should and must give up some of their rights. For example we have a right to free speech but that does not give us the right to yell fire in a crowded theater.
INS agents are permitted to ask for papers all this law does is extend that right to state law enforcement personel. If the federal government and the Mexican government had been addressing the problem there would have been no need to pass this law. Unfortunately they didn't,weren't and would not in the near future. So people are murdered, kidnapped and with drugs being sold to our youth Arizona had no choice but to do something.
How do they stop illegal immigration and the drug trafficking. Here are what I consider the two extremes(I think neither one is acceptable).
First just let everyone in this country repeal all immigration laws; Second saturate the border with military, law enforcement personel and kill everyone that tries to cross the border. These I think are the two absurd extremes. So Arizona passes a law in the middle I'm sure some people's rights will be stepped on from time to time. This is unfortunate but it seems to me most other solutions will step on people's rights even further.
Also what about the rights of those who followed the law in trying to enter this country legally. Illegal immigrants have stepped on their haven't they?

SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS!

Just looked into pre-registering for a WSOP event, and to play, have to give up my driver's license number, date of expiry, and state of issuance.

Can't play poker without papers. We should all boycott. How are the illegals supposed to support the poker community if they can't play without being harassed for papers. Nevada is a damned police state. I didn't do anything illegal and they are demanding my papers.

Go here and try to play as an illegal: http://www.wsop.com/tourney/tourneydetails.asp?groupID=764

The WSOP is racist. Bracelet winners are bigots. I demand a boycott of Nevada!

LEE,

DONT JUST COMPLAIN ABOUT IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE...IVE HEARD IT PUT A FEW TIMES NOW, "I DONT KNOW WHAT THE SOLUTION IS BUT THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY." WELL WHATS THE BETTER WAY????? ITS STUPID TO BLAST THEM WHEN THERE ARE ILLEGALS COMING OVER THE BORDER INTO OUR COUNTRY COMMITTING CRIMES, MURDER INCLUDED.

LETS NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE COST OF HEALTH CARE. AS FAR AS THE GOVERNMENT PRINTING UP MONEY, THE COST FOR THE HEALTH CARE PLAN AS IT RELATES TO ILLEGALS DOESNT SEEM TO BOTHER YOU IN THE LEAST.

YOU CANT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS HAD YEARS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND HAS DONE NOTHING.

CARE TO OFFER ANY SOLUTIONS?

" They came first for the communists, and and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for me and by that time no one was left to speak up."
