The best day to play the Main Event

I am really torturing myself over what day to play the main event. Getting a good starting table is such a big part of the luck involved in tournaments, but even more so in the main event where most of the tables will be soft and to somehow screw up and sign up at a time where you are more likely to have a fairly tough starting table would be very costly.

My first instinct is to go with the last day, as I feel that is when most of the casual players, businessmen, celebrities, ect, will be playing. I also think many of the pros want to play in A or B so they will gain an extra days rest between days 2A and 3 that people who play in day 2b wont get. Day 1d is also a Sunday so might mean less internet brats as they will hate to miss the best day of online tournaments.

My second choice is day 1A just cause I think many amatures can't wait to get in and play, while many of the pros might want extra rest after the preliminaries. Also, there is that aforementioned days rest between day 2a and three. As time is growing short I am thinking this option is less likely though.

What ever day I sign up I want to make sure I dont do it last minute and get at a newly opened table with all players who payed the 10k in cash, also last minute, as these types are more likely to be "pros".

A friend of mine who actually goes by the nickname "Frenchy" wrote me saying he thought my blog about the greatest cardsman in all of Prance was very funny. I am not sure if I offended him or anyone else, but he is a great guy who has made donations to help Chimps among other animal charities and is always a gentleman, as are most other French people. Besides what does Prance have to do with France?

The hardcoreelegance.com website is finally up and running with a lot of the jewelry we are offering on it! We got let down by horrible web designers. We had to actually re-start the day it was supposed to be up, several weeks ago, and missed a lot of traffic. Better late than never
