Caught in the Loop: Part I

About a year ago, Card Player columnist Dusty Schmidt posted a very well-written blog entry detailing the negative effects that online multitabling had on his brain. The easiest way to find it would be to Google “Dusty Schmidt Brain on Poker” and you will see both parts of his blog entry on the subject. I consider them a must-read for any serious online player. With online poker on the verge of returning to the U.S. market in greater numbers, there will be a new crop of young players taking their shot at making a living online. They have a right to know the potential negative effects of mass multitabling, even if they choose to ignore those potential effects.
