Poker solvers are all the rage in modern poker. It’s becoming the standard for poker study and improvement.
Over the last several years, several companies have launched solver platforms aimed at helping players understand game theory optimal play. However, a new company is adding another aspect to poker study. Competition.
GTO Strategy released its own solver product, but integrated it with the CoinPoker online poker room. Players who purchase GTO Strategy and have a CoinPoker account can compete for a spot on monthly leaderboards where GTO Strategy awards real money.
Players who decide to compete will take identical hand quizzes. The three most accurate scores will receive a share of the $10,000 prize pool. The winner earns $5,000, while the runner-up takes home $3,000 and third-place nets $2,000.
GTO Strategy believes that the competition aspect of the leaderboard turns what is normally a solitary study grind into something more meaningful.

The platform uses solver technology and AI feedback to give users quick feedback on hands. It can analyze hands from several different no-limit hold’em variations. GTO Strategy solves spots for both cash games and tournaments, with or without antes, and anywhere between 4-max and 9-max tables.
The competition is just one of the platform’s three modes. It also allows users to get a full GTO breakdown on any hand. Results show how often players should fold, call or raise in each hand. This is where players can get feedback on their own hands.
Then, they can try out the training section of the platform. This is where users get quizzed on hands generated by the platform. Players are given situations and make decisions against a clock. Then, the platform gives a clear solution on the hand and breaks down the solve.
GTO Strategy offers a free option with limited access to the platform’s features. But users can purchase a Standard plan for $39/month or the Elite plan for $79/month, which includes custom AI solves.
