There is about one minute left before the end of the day's action. We'll get as many chip counts as we can, and a list of surviving players. CardPlayer.com should have something posted by 9:15 or 9:30 pm.

Thomas Keller is short-stacked and pushes all in with pocket kings, and he's called by Dave Colclough with A-K of diamonds. Colclough is looking for an ace, but finds a nice flop of Q-Q-10 with two diamonds, giving him a gut-shot straight draw and a flush draw. Sure enough, a diamond hits on the turn for a flush, and Keller needs to catch the last king on the river to stay alive (with a full house). The river card is a blank, and Thomas Keller is eliminated.

Barry Shulman made a preflop raise to $8,000 and was called by one player. Another player moved all in for a total of $34,000. Shulman made the call as did one other player. The flop hit K-9-6, and Shulman instantly moved all in. The other player folded and the all in player revealed J-J. Shulman showed K-Q, and was in great shape to win the pot. No help came as a 5, and then a 10 hit and Shulman picked up around $80,000, and now has $215,000.

Juha Helppi started the day with just under $100,00, and looks like he will end it with over $300,000. After a flop of As-9d-7s, Helppi called a $15,000 bet. The 10s hit on the turn and Helppi faced another bet, but decided to raise enough to put his opponent all in. After the call was made Helppi showed 4s-3s for a flush, and his opponent mucked. Helppi took the pot and now has just over $300,000.

A huge pot developed between John D'Agostino and Alan Boston after a flop of Q-9-5. D'Agostino had Q-9 suited (two pair) against Boston's pocket nines (a set). By the end of the hand, all the money was in the pot, and D'Agostino was eliminated from the tournament. Alan Boston now has over $500,000 in chips.

Alan Smurfit was all in with pocket queens against another player's pocket aces. Looking for a queen, he got a flop of 10-9-8, and made his gut-shot straight on the turn with a jack. The river was a king, and Alan Smurfit doubled up in chips.

It appears after one more elimination that Scotty Nguyen is the chip leader. Scotty held the 10-10 and went against A-7, and the board brought blanks. Scotty's victory puts him over the $400,000 mark and makes him the chip leader.

The players take a 15-minute break before the blinds increase to $1,000-$2,000, with a $300 ante. There are 188 players left, leaving just one table outside of the main tournament room, and the average stack is over $120,000.
