Shawn Buchanan bets $59,000 from the cutoff and Thayer Rasmussen moves all in on the button. Buchanan makes the call after a moment and flips over AJ. Rasmussen is dominated when he reveals A10. The board comes Q6367 and Rasmussen is eliminated in fourth place.
Jared Hamby bets $67,000 from the big blind and Shawn Buchanan calls under the gun. The flop comes 1097 and Hamby bets $82,000. Buchanan mucks and Hamby takes down the pot. He increases his chip lead on the hand.
The players have been exchanging small blows for the last fifteen minutes. They seem content to pick up small pots where they can and wait for fate to deliver the big confrontations.

On a flop of 887 David Levi checks and Shawn Buchanan bets $75,000. Levi pops it to $220,000 and Buchanan smooth calls. The 4 is dealt on the turn and Levi checks again. Buchanan moves all in. Levi completes his hook, line, and sinker maneuver and calls. Levi flips over pocket sevens for the full house and Buchanan turns over K8. The river brings the 2 and Levi has doubled up again.
On a flop of KJ4 David Levi moves all in and Shawn Buchanan once again moves all in over the top of an opponent. Buchanan flips over 106 and Levi shows QJ. The turn and river cards are dealt Q8 and Levi doubles up to $600,000. He is all smiles as he collects the pot. Buchanan is down to $1,700,000 and is now dead even with Hamby for the chip lead.
David Haddad moves all in and Shawn Buchanan moves all in on top of him. Haddad turns over AJ and Buchanan turns over AK. The board is dealt Q54K5 and Haddad is eliminated in fifth place.
Danny Wong moves all in and Thayer Rasmussen calls. Rasmussen flips over pocket sevens and Wong shows pocket threes. The board comes KJ9K8 and Wong is eliminated in sixth place.
