The final nine players are set. And some of them are running very lucky going into the final table. Both Klein Bach and Roland de Wolfe laid pretty bad beats on Brandon Palm and Matt Smith on their way to the final table.
De Wolfe was all in with A 4 and dominated by Palm's J J. However the board ran out Q Q 7 K K, and de Wolfe's Ace kicker played with the Kings and Queens on the board. Palm was awarded $33,012. It was Bach's turn to draw out after Smith sniffed out his bluff. Bach moved all in on a flop K 7 2, and Smith beat him into the pot with K 9. Bach was embarassed to show his J 8. Bach's embarassment probably deepened as he proceeded to hit the 10 on the turn and the 9 on the river to catch a miracle straight to bust Smith in 11th place.
Anna Wroblewski was having a very good time chatting with the players at her table. At one point she ordered a double shot of tequila, and raised the very next hand after finshing it. Receiving no callers, Wroblewski then tabled pocket Queens, announcing, "That's why I always say when you drink it makes you luckier!."
Here are the final nine players:
Seat 1 - Mark McKibben - $643,000
Seat 2 - David Schnettler - $267,000

Two Tables
The players have redrawn again this time for the final two tables.Three notable names have risen to the top of the pack, as three of the chip leaders are Joe Pelton, Anna Wroblewski, and Roland de Wolfe.
Wroblewski gained some of those chips by elminating Pro Blogger Gary Bogdanski when he pushed all in from the small blind with pocket sixes and she held pocket Aces. The suspense would be short lived as she flopped a full house to put a stranglehold on the hand.Bogdanski earned $21,884 for his finish.
The eliminations then began to stack up very quickly, causing one tournament floorperson to mutter a few colorful words under his breath as he was constantly balancing tables.
Klein Bach and Kuong Lu had a quite a rapport built up as they traded chips.Bach ended up with the last laugh.First Bach pushed all in after Lu’s preflop raise of $65,000.A few hands later Bach raised from middle position, and Lu pushed all in for almost $350,000.Bach called and showed As Kc while Lu showed Ks Jd and was trailing. The board came out 7c 7h 4s 7d Ad and Bach eliminated Lu in 19th place ($21,884).Before the tables could be combined, Jaydee Bade pushed all in with 6s 6h and was called by As Js.He was safe on the board of KdQc 4h 9d, but couldn’t fade the Ac on the river and he busted in 18th place earning $25,593.
T.J. Cloutier was the severe stack and wasted no time doubling up when the tables combined. With $379,000 now in his stack, he pushed all in again with Ad Kh and was called by Klein Bach with Ah Qs.He was primed to vault among the chip leaders, and then the board rolled out Qc 9d 7s 8d 6c, and Cloutier was headed to the rail in 17th place, earning $25,593.
There were three quick eliminations after the dinner break and they are currently redrawing for the final three tables. This will take longer than normal because of the large number of $1,000 chips in play. Luckliy one of the chip leaders, Anna Wroblewski drew the same seat and will not have to rearrange her large towers of chips.
Jennifer Tilly was eliminated in 30th place earning $18,546, when she pushed all in with A-7, was called by A-J, and received no help. TJ Cloutier is one of the short stacks and will need to double up a couple times to get back into contention.
Perhaps Noah Boeken and Marcello Del Grosso are clairvoyant. While sitting in adjacent seats they were sharing a meal.It is possible both knew they would be busted out before the dinner break and wanted to get their meal in early.Boeken was the first to go as he moved all in with A Q and was called by A A.He received no help and was eliminated in 40th place earning $15,578.Del Grosso managed to last till the next pay bump, but he eventually bowed out in 35th place earning $18,546.
Nick Frangos lost a race with pocket tens versus K-Q and was eliminated in 32nd place earning the same payout.
Jennifer took a few hits this last level.Tilly first doubled through Klein Bach with Jacks up.Only a few hands later Bach moved all in under the gun, and groaned when Tilly re-raised all in to isolate him.She turned over A-K to his J-2.There was an Ace and a Jack on the flop, but the turn was the 2, making Bach his own Jacks-up to double up himself. On the next to last hand before the break, Joe Pelton exacted some revenge on Tilly, when he defended against her $35,000 raise from the big blind, and called her $47,000 continuation bet on the Q 7 6.They both checked the 8s and the Kc on the turn and river, Tilly announced she had sixes and Pelton showed 10 7 to take the pot.
Eugene Todd was the last player eliminated before the dinner break.Joe Pelton raised to $35,000 from the cutoff, Todd re-raised all in, and Pelton called.Pelton showed A A and Todd was in bad shape with 9 9.The board ran out Ks 10 6 K 7, and Todd was eliminated in 31st place, earning $18,546.
There are currently 30 players left on 4 tables. They will be on dinner break until 11pm.
Each of the final five tables has at least one or two pro players making things interesting for the “dead money” still in the field.
Nick Frangos, sharing the table with David Singer and Blair Rodman, was put to a decision for almost all of his chips, ultimately made the wrong decision.Frangos led out with a $30,000 bet on a board of 10 8 2 2, his opponent pushed all in for $64,000 more, and Frangos went into the tank.Frangos only had $68,000 left himself, so he would be crippled if he lost the hand. After running through his opponent’s possible holdings, Frangos announced he had, “worked too hard to get here,” and he folded. He asked his opponent to see his cards and he showed the A J for the bluff.Frangos remained strong and dragged a few small pots to get back the $30,000 he lost in that hand.
Jennifer Tilly has had a very active round.Tilly raised to $25,000 from early position, the player in Seat 9 moved all in for $35,000 more, the player in Seat 2 moved all in for $45,000.Tilly announced that she didn’t read the part of the book explaining pot odds, but she figured she had them and called.Seat 9 showed Kings and Seat 2 showed Aces, while Tilly only had A 10.Tilly caught one 10 on the turn, but couldn’t find another on the river.A few hands later she got her chips back hooking up in a hand with Joe Pelton.Pelton raised to $25,000 from middle position, and Tilly called from the big blind. The flop was J 10 9, Tilly bet out $35,000, Pelton raised to $70,000, and Tilly moved all in immediately.Pelton eventually folded and Tilly stacked his chips.
David Singer lost a race in cruel fashion for his tournament life.Singer moved all in from under the gun for his last $88,000 with KQ, and the player in the small blind called with J J.The flop hit Singer, but hit his opponent harder as it rolled out Q J 9.The A and 6 hit on the turn and the river and Singer was eliminated in 44th earning $12,982.
Anna Wroblewski dodged a major bullet in a pot involving T.J. Cloutier.Cloutier raised to $25,000 from middle position, the player to his right moved all in, and Wroblewski moved all in over the top from the cutoff, and Cloutier folded.Wroblewski held A A, while Seat 3 was crushed with A K.The flop rolled out Q 6 5, and Cloutier let out a few choice words (as he had folded Queens). The turn and the river were the 7 and 6 and Wroblewski raked in the pot.
There are currently 42 players left.

61 Players Remain
There are only 61 players left in day two of event #47, $2,000 No Limit Hold 'Em. The current chip leader is Steve Crawford and Jennifer Tilly has climbed into the number two spot.
Rafe Furst is still in the tournament, but holding on to a very short stack. Furst lost a lot of his chips to Joe Pelton in the following hand. With the board showing Q 8 8 Pelton bet out $25,000. Furst called and the turn came 7 and Pelton checked. Furst pushed all in and had Pelton covered. Pelton called and both players turned over their cards. Furst showed J J and Pelton was ahead with K K. Furst needed a jack or any club to take down the pot but the river was the 9 and Pelton took it down. Furst was left with $50,000 after the hand and at the end of level was under $10,000.
Ari Eslami picked up a nice pot and doubled up in the last level. Eslami was all in preflop with 3 3 against his opponent in the two seat who held A-J. The board came 5 4 3 9 3 to give Eslami quads and keep him alive.
The players will go on dinner break at 9 p.m. tonight.
Notable Chip Counts
The field has narrowed down to 75 players and play is starting to get intense. Every passing moment it seems a player either jumps out of his seat yelling or calls the floorman to settle a dispute. Blair Rodman has emerged as the chip leader in the last level with $305,000 and Eugene Todd is not far behind with $300,000. Jennifer Tilly has climbed into the top five in chips recently as well.
The hand that caused the most commotion in the last level went down between John Esposito and Steve Crawford. Enjoying relative success for most of the day, Esposito was just plain unlucky. The board showed J 8 2 and Esposito bet out $60,000. Crawford waited for only a moment before coming back over the top all in. Esposito made the call and was barely covered by Crawford. Esposito turned over A J and Crawford was behind with J 10. The turn brought the 10 and Esposito yelled at his misfortune. Crawford only needed to dodge a club or an ace on the river and he would double up. The river was the 3 and Esposito broke his glasses in frustration. Crawford jumped up to almost $300,000 after the hand. Esposito was officially eliminated in 79th place, earning $7,233.
Jordan Morgan was also eliminated in the last level in 80th place, taking home $7,233.

The cards finally got into the air on day two of event #47 at around 3:30 p.m. The returning players finished the last few minutes of level 11 and played straight into level 12. The players are now on a 15 minute break following the completion of the twelfth level.
There are fewer than 90 players left and with tables breaking and players moving seats some tough tables have been formed. At table 68 David Singer, Nick Frangos and Blair Rodman are all sharing the felt. Across the tournament area T.J. Cloutier, Raymond Davis, and Rafe Furst can all be seen sitting at the same table.
Though the money bubble has burst, there is still a long, hard road ahead for any of these players to survive until the final table. Jordan Morgan is making a serious push for the final table and has been putting pressure on the other players at his table all day. Morgan raised to $6,500 preflop and the player in seat eight pushed all in for a little under $50,000. Morgan didn't even wait for the dealer to count out the bet before announcing that he would make the call. The player in seat eight showed A 10 and Morgan was holding J J. The board came 5 5 2 Q 4 and Morgan added his opponent's chips to his stack. Morgan now has over $130,000.
Kirk Morrison was eliminated in 111th place, earning $4,822. John Esposito raised to $9,000 from middle position and Kirk Morrison reraised to $29,000 total. Esposito went deep into the tank and began to interrogate Morrison for information. "You trying to pull something?" asked Esposito. "If I'm gonna call I might as well put you all in, " said Esposito. Esposito then put $50,000 into the middle, reraising Morrison all in. Morrison only had a few thousand left and made the call. Esposito showed A Q and Morrison was holding 6 6. "Thought you had somethin' like that, " said Esposito. The board came K Q 9 K 10 and Esposito took down the pot, eliminating Morrison in 111th place.
