Break for Instructions
The clock is stopped with five minutes remaining so the tournament director can explain the end-of-day procedures to a captive audience. It also creates something of a "five-minute warning," which will add some additional pressure to anyone facing elimination. ("If it weren't for that break, I might not be facing a preflop reraise with pocket tens.")
Play will resume soon.

Wil Wheaton Eliminated
Dan O'Connor raises to $1,500 under the gun, Dean Bui reraises to $3,000, and Wil Wheaton reraises all in for $10,400 from the big blind. O'Connor thinks a bit before moving all in, and Bui quickly puts all his chipsin the pot and flips over pocket aces (Ac-Ah). O'Connor and Wheaton both groan -- O'Connor has pocket kings (Kc-Ks), while Wheaton has As-Kd. Bui is the shortest stack, but with the best hand, he's looking to triple up here. Wheaton will have to beat O'Connor to survive, so the case ace would keep him alive, but he'll need a straight or a flush to win the main pot.
The flop comes Jd-Jh-7h, and Bui's aces are still in the lead, and he's also the only one with a flush draw. He can only lose to a king for O'Connor or a runner-runner straight for Wheaton. The last two cards are 4d-5d, and Bui's aces hold up to win the hand.
Bui takes the main pot, and triples up to $23,500. O'Connor wins a small side pot against Wheaton, and is left with $9,500 after the hand. Wil Wheaton is eliminated from the tournament.

Jennifer Harman Doubles Up
A player raised to $1,125, and Jennifer Harman moves all in for her last $5,350. A second player called, and the original raiser folded. Harman showed As-Qs, but she was up against pocket jacks (Jc-Js). Harman's tournament life would come down to a race situation. The flop came Qd-7c-3h, and Harman picked up a big beautiful queen to take the lead in the hand. Nothing but a jack could send her home now, and the last two cards came 9c-8c. Harman is now up over $12,000 in chips.
