Day 2 Comes to an End
Day 2 comes to an end with 31 players, one away from the target goal of 30. Unfortunately, we won't be able to get official chip counts until the casino does their own counts, redraws for seats, and releases the information sometime later tonight. We will post that information as soon as it becomes available.

Ilya Livich Eliminated in 33rd Place ($20,700)
Minh Nguyen raised preflop to $16,000 under the gun Liviz reraised to $43,00 from the small blind. Lenny Cortellino pushed all in from the big blind, and had both players covered. Nguyen mucked his hand and Liviz called the all in. Cortellino showed Kd-Kc, and Liviz was in rough shape with the Ah-Ks. Liviz could still get lucky, but the flop brought no help when it came Js-6d-6c. The turn brought the 3s, and the river brought the 4s. Cortellino's kings held up, and Ilya Livich has been sent home in 33rd place.

Tony Santich Doubles Up
Tony Santich get all of his money in preflop with Ad-Qc and is called by Steve Jacobs who is holding Ah-7c. The flop comes 6d-4c-3d, not a bad flop for Jacobs, considering he was dominated before the flop. he can now catch a seven or a five for the win. The turn brings the Jd, no help to Jacobs, and the river is the 2h. Santich's Ace high is good enough, and he doubles up.

Jeff Paquette Eliminated in 35th Place ($20,700)
After a flop of Q-J-5, Allen Cunningham checks, and Jeff Paquette checks behind him. Cunningham checks the 9 on the turn, Paquette bets $30,000, Cunningham raises to $62,000, and Paquette moves all in. Cunningham quickly calls, showing K-10 for the nut straight. Paquette has A-Q, and he's drawing dead. (The meaningless river card is another 9.) Jeff Paquette is eliminated in 35th place, earning $20,700. Allen Cunningham has accumulated a lot of chips in the last half hour, and he is now sitting on roughly $600,000 in chips.
