569 Survivors?
The tournament clock shows 569 players who survived Day Two. If that number is accurate, then that means there are only nine people left who will play tomorrow and go home with nothing. For the shortest stacks in the field, it might be a restless night, with $12,500 at stake between 561st place and 560th place.
The average chip stack at this point should be roughly $98,750.

End of the Day
The day comes to an end before we ever slow down for the bubble. Play will begin tomorrow in a hand-for-hand situation at 12:00 noon. The players are now counting, bagging, and tagging their chips.
For those who are still confused, and haven't checked out our "Commentary" section, there will NOT be an off day on Thursday. Wednesday will be the last day at the Rio, and Thursday will be the first day at Binion's.

Raymer Makes a Good Read
Greg Raymer limps in, and the player in Seat 7 raises to $6,600. The action folds around to Raymer who calls. The flop comes Jd-8s-3h. Raymer checks, and Seat 7 bets out $25,000. Raymer mucks almost immediately, and says, "Aces? Or Kings this time?" In a sportsmanlike gesture, Seat 7 shows his pocket kings.

Darden Takes a Dent out of Mason
Paul Darden just took about $40,000 out of Kevin Mason's chip stack. The flop came Q-X-X and Darden bet out. Mason called and the turn card was a rag as well. Darden bet out again and was called by Kevin Mason. The river was a King and Darden checked. Mason bet out $25,000 to which Paul Darden called. Darden showed A-Q and Mason only had Q-J. Paul "The Truth" Darden now has approximately $140,000 in chips.
