Chris Bigler Eliminated
In a one-two punch, Chris Bigler lost the first half of his stack when his Ac-Kc is cracked when the flop of A-K-Q made his caller's J-10 a slightly better hand. Not too long afterwards, moving in with his short stack was not enough to protect his set of 4's from being called and beaten by a flush draw.

Shannon Elizabeth's Buttery Speech
John Gale raised, and Shannon Elizabeth moved all in over the top. Gale went into the tank and was contemplating a call when Elizabeth attempted to talk him out of a call with the following speech, "You could let me live till tomorrow. After all, I'm new, and you're amazing at this..." Elizabeth continued to butter Gale up, and eventually Gale decided to muck his hand.

Playing Down to 650 Tonight
An announcement has just been made that play will continue after this level without a break. The tournament clock currently shows 69 tables left, and play will continue until there are just 65 tables left (with 650 players).
At that point, the tournament will end for the day, and it will be time to bag and tag all of the chips. The survivors will receive two days of rest before they have to return on Sunday for Day 2.
We will report the change in the blinds when they occur.

Erik Sei-yonara-del (Erik Seidel Eliminated)
After a flop that brought two hearts, Erik Seidel moved all in for approximately $15,000 in chips. He was called by Stephen Rodenbeck. Seidel showed Ah-7h for the nut flush draw. Rodenbeck showed A-10 for ace high. The turn and river did not improve either players' hand, and Rodenbeck's ace high was good enough to send Erik Seidel home early.

Gone Fischman
Scott Fischman, sitting on approximately $20,000 in chips, moves all in preflop with 10-10 and is called by Chris Smith who holds A-K. It's a classic race as we head to the flop, but when a king hits it's all but over for Fischman. The turn and river are bricks, and Scott Fischman is eliminated.
