Holger Kanisch raises 160,000 on the button and Sandra Naujoks calls. Marc Gork takes his chance and pushes all in for 242,000. Kanisch then reraises it to 900,000 and Naujoks clears the way for the two to battle it out.

and Kanisch's sevens hold up.
The poet and philosopher, Marc Gork, has been quite the character on this German dominated final table. He now leaves €307,000 richer for third place.
We go heads up now with the two remaining Germans, Sandra Naujoks and Holger Kanisch. It should be an interesting final. The table, live feed, and players are now preparing for the final hands of the event.
With blinds of 40,000/80,000 and a 10,000 ante, Marc Gork has improved his stack, but soon Sandra Naujoks, who had lost a few pots, is back in the centre of the action.
Marc Gork raises to 185,000, and Naujoks three bets to 500,000 and Gork moves all in for 2,222,000. Naujoks thinks and then makes the call. She flips over pocket tens and Gork reveals pocket sixes.

and Naujok doubles through Gork.
In an unbelievable turn of events Naujok now has 3,150,000 and Gork has 412,000.
He is now reading his poetry to her, maybe she has left more than an impression on his stack.
Sandra Naujoks: 3,880,000
Holger Kanisch: 1,695,000
Marc Gork: 1,000,000
Soon after, Sandra Naujoks is at it again. She started off the day quietly and is now unleasing the fury.
Johan Storakers bets 170,000 and Naujoks pushes all in. Storakers calls. He flips over A

Storakers, who wanted to finish in the top four to be able to buy the house he has been looking at, can do so, as he has scraped in to that top four, earning €237,000 for fourth.
He leaves three Germans - one female, two males - to battle it out.
Mike McDonald pushes all in on the button, Sandra Naujoks calls from the small blind.

Last year's champion Mike McDonald is no longer in the running for a double EPT. He takes home €197,000 for fifth place.
Naujoks is going good.
With the orange chips just introduced (25,000) to join the blue (10,000) and the yellow (5,000), there has been some amazingly gutsy and aggressive movements from Sandra Naujoks.
Mike McDonald raised, Naujoks pushed all in for 742,000, (560,000 more to McDonald), and he passes.
In the next hand, she moves all in again from the hijack and takes the pot. At this point she has shoved five out of six hands.
The very next hand, she says, "Gentlemen..." and moves all in (like the PokerStars ad featuring Boris Becker). Everyone folds.
The players break now for dinner. Five will return in one hour to fight it out for the €917,000 first prize.
Luca Pagano is all in on the button with 7

. Gork has Pagano covered but not by very far with 834,000. Could there soon be two of the three most familiar names from this final table sitting among the spectators?
The answer comes with a board of K

. The nine knocks a very weary and tired looking Italian out of the competition. The disappointment sweeps across the casino here in Dortmund. Pagano is a well liked character on the circuit and has great decorum, representing the game well.
He cashes for the tenth time in an EPT with this sixth place for €153,000.
Level: 26 Blinds: 25,000/50,000 Ante: 5,000
Hoger Kanisch: 2,201,000
Johan Storakers: 1,630,000
Michael McDonald: 1,147,000
Marc Gork: 769,000
Sandra Naujoks: 636,000
Luca Pagano: 327,000
Mike McDonald pushes all in for preflop with 105,000 in the pot. Marc Gork calls 276,000 more to win 431,000. McDonald flips over AxQ
and Gork shows 8-7.
The board finally falls in McDonald's favor: A

He is now sitting on 959,000.
