Todd Brunson Eliminated by John Phan
Todd Brunson raises to 55,000 and John Phan reraises to 110,000. It is folded around to Brunson who pretends to muck, jokingly, before moving all in for an additional 7,000. Phan makes the call and finds out that his AQ is way ahead of Brunson's KQ. The board runs out A9734 and Brunson is eliminated.
Phillipe Rouas raises to 25,000 and Tom McCormick reraises to 60,000. Rouas calls and checks a flop of AJ2. McCormick bets 100,000, about half of his remaining stack and Rouas check raises all in. McCormick calls and reveals AK and it is well ahead of Rouas and his A10. The turn and river came KK and McCormick doubled up to 510,000.
A short while later, Rouas doubled up to 200,000 when his pocket aces held against Chris McCormack's pocket queens.
Gavin Smith has busted out of the Bellagio Cup late on day 3. His A-10 ran into the pocket jacks of Adam Geyer, and he was sent to the rail with $25,855 in prize money.
