The last hand of the night was a wild one that saw two players hit the rail. Denes Kalo had both Stephan Kjerstad and Michael Courin covered all in preflop when the three players turned up their hands:

Kalo eliminated both of his opponents on then hand and they were eliminated in 41st place (Courin - $53,283), and 40th place (Kjerstad - $60,082). Kalo jumped up to 642,000 after the hand and he ends the night among the chip leaders.

Play ends for the night with a double-elimination on the bubble. (That hand is coming soon). There will be 39 players left when play begins tomorrow at 1 p.m. CET (7 a.m. ET), and all are guaranteed to earn at least $60,000 (€38,000). Play will resume in level 18 with 40 minutes and 45 seconds left on the clock - blinds at 4,000-8,000 with a 1,000 ante.

Joe Hachem got all of his chips into the middle with pocket jacks against pocket sevens. A seven falls on the flop and Hachem is knocked behind in the hand. A jack falls on the turn and Hachem gets up to celebrate. The set of jacks hold on the river and Hachem doubles up to 240,000.

The blinds are now 4,000-8,000 with a 1,000 ante and the players are back in their seats for what should be, in all likelihood, the last level of the night. Only three more players to go until the end of the night.
