$100 Challenge--Bankroll builderby PokerSNCO | Published May 27, 2012 |

Well I've had a roller coaster of a week to say the least...I finished 3rd and 5th in $10k/$25k GTD tourneys on the same night for over $2700, then managed to run up some cash wins to $4000. I've had a trip to pay for and a few other things so I withdrew $3k of then and then managed to go broke with the last $1k. I am a firm believer in the withdrawl curse but that's for another time. So with this being said, I'm going to try to actually go through with a challenge I'm setting for myself in hopes of grinding up a bankroll instead of just looking for a big win..hope to still have one of those too at some point!
$100 Deposit...site will either be William Hill, 888Poker or Lock...not sure yet.
Here are my rules:
Can not progress to next level until 20 buy-in is accomplished, but I don't have to move up a level but have to move down when my BR is under 20 buy-ins.
Cash: Max buy in 20 Buy-ins(i.e. $100, max is .02/.05, $200 would be .05/.10 etc...)
MTT Tournies: Max buy-in $5 plus fee freezeouts, rebuys $2 plus fee max 1 R/A, increases as I move up in levels)
SnG Tournies: $5+ fee (increases as i move up in levels)
The challenge ends when I bust my bankroll.
I'm hoping to create some sort of discipline for myself as well as working on my game while grinding up a bankroll. I'll post daily updates as this will be the first time I've
actually set myself a challenge. I know 20 buy-ins is short but I think starting at the lower levels its reasonable, as I move up I may hold put until I'm at more buy-ins and feel more comfortable. I'd like to have a $10k bankroll by Dec 31, 2012 so I'm taking this challenge very seriously.
Join me on my journey and lets shuffle up and pray!
