5pm starts and little league....

Yesterdays day off was really nice. I went cross town to pik up my new bak pak cooler, which is realllly cool. Ive been using a roundish hard plastic cooler, which would be awkward to walking around the Rio with. Breaks are short and the walk to the parking lot to grab a juice leaves no time for anything else, so often when hungry i skipped the juice. Now, no need...The juice gives me a much needed burst of energy and focus!! Im stoked!!

I also went and downsized, me white - tee shirts grabbing 10 brand spanking new Haynes tag less XXL.....exciting!!! They are a lil tight, Im forced to drop another 20 pounds : ).

I relaxed and hung out with Andres who arrived from Alaska yesterday. We shot the shit...then I went to watch the OKC-Spurs game and was out like a light...woke up at 8:30 with a text from my buddy Charlie mentioning the turn out for the 5k stud satty was rather big awarding 6 seats...so, showered and off i went to win a seat. A 2 out gutterball put an end to that. So, I went to register for the 5k stud. I like registering early to avoid all the ballers that late reg. On my way I passed the "high limit" cash game section and notice a pretty decent lookin 50-100 stud8 game that was callin my name...i sat for a cpl hours before the game got 3 handed, and a not rlly worth it 3 handed game...so we asked the Rio floor for reduced rake, which in their infinate wisdom refused....so I locked up a $1200 win and called it a day!! I went and registered for the $5k...and headed "home"

I got a great nites sleep...feelin fantastic. Just got outta the pool, swam 18 laps in 6 lap clips....getting stronger!!! While swimmin it reminded me of havin the afternoons off gettin ready for the "big game" Little League was a really fun experience for me. And most likely where my drive to compete + crush began. I vividly remember suitin up, those crazy colored uniforms. Im happy we had "real names" and I was on the Tigers, 2 time League Champs in my 4 years! Such fun!

So, today i have the afternoon off. I just popped a sweet potato inda oven, and im chillin, preparing for the "big game" now called the $5k stud, event #10 at 5pm.
