Back in Black

I had a dream, that I would be once again able to afford ramen noodles without adding to my nearly 4 figure debt to my best friend Finch, and on a day that was commemorating Dr Martin Luther Kind Jr. I was able to realize that goal by shipping the $150 multi-table tournament on Monday for $3,000 roughly 1 third of which got immediately shipped to Finch who happened to finish 3rd in the same tournament for $1,100 (I'll give you one guess who busted him :P ). This allows me some, though not as much as I would like, room to play Seabrook MTTs and local cash games. It is also the first and vastly easier part of one of my new years goals, which was to get AND STAY out of debt for the year. Once I buy a few more things that I need for this semester in school I will have roughly $1450 to play poker with (I also tipped $240 on the tourney win). On the immediate docket I will be playing a $250 at Seabrook on Sunday, which is still not really within my bankroll but is great value and only happens once a moth. I think it is important that I play as many as these as I can in order to achieve and possibly shatter my goal of $20,000 in profits for 2013 as I may in fact need to ship one or two of them to get there barring me hitting it big at Foxwoods.
I am also pumped to have more than one bullet to show up to the 200NL home game that I have recently become a regular in because it is a good spot most weeks and could be important to help me glide through the inevitable variance that tournaments bring without hitting that dreadful bankroll=$0 mark again. So for the most part, while I am in classes this semester I will be playing poker every Wednesday in the cash game and probably at least once every other weekend at one of the NH venues. The focus that I will be putting into poker on days that do not see me actually grinding on the tables will revolve around leggopoker training videos, posting in forums, keeping up with media outlets (pokernews.com, pokerstars.tv, televised events, live streaming during final tables, cardplayer.com, etc.), as well as continuing to play online. My main game online has become the $4 Heads up Super Turbos, and I keep moving up to $8's and either hitting a downswing or losing one or two sports bets and having to move back down. I am implementing a extremely aggressive 20 Buy In rule, which is by no means enough for super turbo heads up, however I don't feel that I will focus in $2 STs so I am just gona ride the $4 train till I run it up or go busto. So far I have gotten my balance down to a pretty dangerous low twice and each time I typically just game select a little better and cut down from 4 tables to either 3 or 2.
I haven't heard from my uncle for confirmation yet but it is possible (I'd guess that it is 40% to happen) that he will be backing me in an upcoming Foxwoods $600 which would be a nice shot to take if it comes to fruition. Also I have a birthday coming up in a little under a week which I am sure will have some celebratory festivities that come along with that milestone (does 23 really count as a milestone?) though I imagine that I will keep it low key because I don't need anything extravagant for a dumb birthday. I really don't think that I would mind not doing anything in particular for my birthday, but will likely do something small. Anyway I should prob start taking notes for my sociology class that I have been in while writing this hopefully I will be able to write soon how my run good continued.
