And We're Back

We had some technical difficulties here at the Rio and the internet is finally back up and working, so here is all of the action that you missed.

Chad
Batista Doubles Up Early
Issac Haxton raises to $60,000 and Chad Bastista moves all-in for another $304,000. Haxton makes the call with A J, but Chad Batista turns over A Q. The board comes A 6 3 9 5, no help to either player and Batista doubles up.

Thierry Cazals Eliminated in 9th Place ($72,599)
Shawn Luman comes in for a raise and Theo Tran just smooth calls. Thierry Cazals re-raises $100,000 more and Shawn Luman folds. Theo Tran moves all-in (has Cazals covered) and Cazals makes the call. Tran shows J J while Cazals shows 10 10. The board comes 4 4 3 K A, no help to Thierry Cazals as he is our ninth place finisher ($72,599).

Arnold Spee Eliminated in 8th place ($80,665)
Isaac Haxton makes a pre-flop raise with A K and Arnold Spee moves all-in with 10 10. Haxton calls and the board comes K 4 2 2 4, giving Haxton a pair of kings on the flop and sending Arnold Spee to the rail in eighth place ($80,665).

Theo Tran Makes a Great Call
Theo Tran comes in for a pre-flop raise with A K and Isaac Haxton calls behind him with K 8. The flop comes 9 3 3 and both players check around. The turn brings the 7 and Tran checks to Haxton who bets out $125,000. Tran calls and the river brings the 4. Once again, Tran checks to Haxton who this time bets out $300,000. Tran goes into the tank and makes the call a few minutes later. Great call from Theo Tran and he now takes over the chip lead.

Isaac Haxton Eliminated in 7th Place ($96,798)
Isaac “The Lizard King” Haxton moves all-in with 10 8 and Chad Batista calls him out with A 8. Bastista has him covered. The board comes A Q Q J 5, no help to Isaac Haxton as he is eliminated in seventh place ($96,798).

Kris Tate Eliminated in 6th Place (112,931)
Kris Tate moves all-in for $160,000 and Michael Graves makes the call. Tate turns over J 10 while Graves shows 5 5. The board comes K 9 4 2 8, no help to Kris Tate as he is our sixth place finisher ($112,931).
